| MERCK INTRODUCES LECTRANAL® IN SOUTH AFRICA |
| Milsing d.o.o. announces a distribution agreement with Merck Consumer Health Care Holding GmbH. |
Two companies have enclosed an exclusive distribution agreement to sell Lectranal® under Merck's proprietary brand labels. Lectranal® is patent-pending ingredient derived from Astragalus membranaceus, used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Through innovative design it successfully relieves seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms as shown in clinical trials. Lectranal® was introduced by Merck in South Africa under the commercial name Iliadin herbal.
Zlatko Buzina, Deputy Director of Milsing d.o.o. said: "After building a successful brand presence in Croatia and several other European countries, we are very enthusiastic to start the cooperation with Merck and believe it will develop favorably for both parties in the future. Lectranal® is an established name with medical professionals and consumers in the markets in which we are present."
The incidence of seasonal allergic rhinitis is on the rise globally and the causes for this are still uncertain. It is estimated more than 80 million Europeans suffer from these allergies and the same trend is observed globally. |
