EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF LECTRANAL® IN THE TREATMENT OF SEASONAL ALLERGIC RHINITIS SYMPTOMS

After 6 weeks of treatment there was a tendency towards statistically significant change in the specific IgG level. In the serums of the patients treated with Lectranal®, the specific IgG level was reduced, and in the placebo group it increased.

Safety
Side effects were reported by 10 patients, none of whom dropped out of the study. The most common side effects were pharyngitis and rhinosinusitis, which can be regarded as the symptoms of the treated disease (allergy). The side effects were of low intensity and were not related to the treatment.

CONCLUSION

Lectranal® was efficient and safe in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and had statistically significantly better results for several outcomes in comparison to the placebo.
